Could I put a 5.7 motor from a 2015 challenger into a journey 09 2.4L

Greetings! Thank you for reaching out directly to us with this question. We strongly advise against installing a 5.7L motor under the hood of your Dodge Journey.
There are several main reasons for this:
1. The 5.7 Liter V8 Engine is much larger than the one you have installed now. Your Dodge Journey's underhood isn't designed for an engine that size - it may simply not fit.
2. Along with the engine, you'll have to install the transmission from the 2015 Dodge Challenger, since the standard one won't handle the load.
3. The Dodge Challenger has rear-wheel drive while the Journey has front-wheel drive, which can cause difficulties in the installation process.
4. The Dodge Challenger has a longitudinal engine arrangement, whereas the Dodge Journee has a transverse arrangement. So, you will have to make many changes to your vehicle's construction in order for everything to function properly. This includes the transmission, the steering, and the engine mount.
To summarize, we don't recommend doing this swap because your car is structurally unsuitable for this modification. You may need to make too many changes for this motor to perform as it should.
